Who can get breast surgery?

Women who

  • You’re over 18 years old
  • You are physically healthy
  • You aren’t pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Your breasts are fully developed

Does breast aesthetics leave a scar?

Depending on the breast aesthetics to be performed, there may be incision marks around the nipple, in the lower part of the breast, in the midline or on the inframammary fold. While these scars are more pink in color and distinct in the first months, they often become inconspicuous within 1-2 years. The scar creams that you will use after the operation will help the scars disappear in a short time, almost invisible. In some cases, the scars may enlarge or become puffy. In this case, additional procedures such as scar treatments may be required.

As with any surgery, breast aesthetics has some risks. Among these, blood collection in the most common operation area (hematoma), opening in the suture lines, circulatory disorder in the nipple or breast skin, some asymmetry in the breasts can be counted. Because; Avoiding blood thinners and foods before surgery will reduce the risk of bleeding.

How are the types of breast aesthetic scars?

The scar that will remain according to the technique used in breast augmentation and lift surgeries and the amount of reduction; only around the nipple, lollipop (racquet) shape or inverted T shape. The lollipop scar is in the form of a round scar around the nipple and then a straight line going down. On the other hand, in the inverted T trace, there is another trace under the breast that matches the breast crease in addition to the lollipop trace.

Recovery time after breast aesthetics

  • The recovery process after breast recovery surgery is very important. After the procedure, meticulous care should be applied to the chest area. Post-surgery is usually comfortable. Pain is minimal and painkillers reduce the pain to a minimum. There may be difficulty in arm movements. Dressing is done 4 days after the operation.
  • During the period after the operation, you should avoid water contact with your breasts for as long as your doctor tells you.
  • You should not raise your arms above your shoulders for an average of 1 month.
  • You should avoid all movements that will force the stitches.
  • After the surgery, a special bra is worn as a support in line with the advice of your doctor.
  • Considering the time your doctor tells you after the surgery, you should not sleep on your face for an average of 1 month.
  • Using the drugs and creams prescribed by your doctor without interruption will allow you to heal in a short time and leave fewer incisions.

Can I breastfeed after breast aesthetics?

Most women who have had breast surgery can breastfeed, at least in some way. Some can: 

  • fully breastfeed 

  • partially breastfeed 

  • breastfeed with the help of medicines.

    Before the surgery, discuss your current (or future) breastfeeding plans with your surgeon, your surgeon can change the the surgery’s plan  to enable you to breastfeed in the future.   

    If you are breastfeeding at the moment, ask your surgeon about how the surgery may affect your ability to breastfeed.

Day 1

Arrival in İstanbul

Our transfer agent welcomes you in Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport and accompanies you to the VIP transfer. You will be dropped off at the hotel. Please complete your check-in procedure with your ID card without making payment. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing in the hotel, going to a nearby shop mall or you can go for sightseeing.

Day 2

Surgery

Preliminary preparation is required. X ray and Blood tests are made. The areas to be treated are designed by the surgeon. Then the patient is taken to the operating room. Depending on the area you’re having treated and how much fat you’re having removed, your procedure can take between one and three hours to complete. However, this is only the time for the actual surgical procedure. The preoperative and post-operative procedures will extend your time in the hospital to a full day.After the surgery, you’ll be closely monitored by medical staff and you will typically stay in the hospital for 1 night.

Day 3

Discharge

You are discharged the next day after staying in the hospital for 1 night.

Rest

You can rest in the hotel and follow your own program.

Day 6

Control

You are taken to the hospital for a final check up with your surgeon. You’ll be provided with all necessary care and instructions.

Control and departure
